Profit at 25-year-old contractor more than doubles to £14m

Fit out firm BW said turnover this year is forecast to hit £375m after the contractor said income went up one third last year.

The company, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, said revenue went up 34% to £327m in 2025 with pre-tax more than doubling from £6m to £14m.

BW said it remained on course to hit a turnover of £500m by 2030 although the firm is now expected to hit that target by 2028.

In a note accompanying the accounts, the firm said the jump in revenue was driven by larger, high-value projects which included is largest job to date – a £63m scheme for a tech firm in London.

BW, which moved into bigger offices off Ludgate Hill near St Paul’s Cathedral last month, has around 320 staff with its new office catering for 140 desks.

Chief executive Steve Elliott said the London office market continued to be BW’s core business with more and more firms upgrading space to get staff back into the office in the years after covid.

“Clients want a higher quality of finish,” he said. “They want to make a statement for their staff.”

Year-end cash was £57m, up from £40.5m last time, with the firm beginning 2026 with £210m of secured revenue, a 5% rise on the previous year.
