Babcock, Carillion and Kier are among more than 30 companies that have pre-qualified for a new wave of Defence Estates work.

Defence Estates has published a list of those that have expressed an interest in hard facilities management contracts across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The work up for grabs includes maintenance and repairs to the built estate, and options for lands management and rural services and construction projects valued below £3.93m.
