Curzon de Vere outlines plan to turn logistics site into AI, AgriTech and energy site supporting 4,000 jobs
A developer has submitted plans to expand a logistics site into a vast technology park.

Curzon de Vere plans to expand the 150-acre Port One Logistics Park, located on a former quarry site in Great Blakenham, Ipswich, into a 283-acre technology park.
Curzon de Vere said the expanded technology hub will host a number of “groundbreaking projects in AI, AgriTech and energy” and eventually support 4,000 jobs.
It said it will also become the UK’s primary promoter of HGV electrification and biogas dual-fuel systems and a “world leader in vertical farming and controlled environment soft fruit production.” It said the site will support 150 different job types from AI development and plant science, to catering and logistics. The developer said around 500 construction workers will also be on the site at any one time, providing a further economic uplift during the build programme
Phase one of the development is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
