Rowan Pinkerton spent decade at contractor
US student housing developer Landmark Properties has appointed former Bovis project director Rowan Pinkerton as its director of construction in the UK and Europe.
Landmark bought its first UK site last October with plans for a 225-bed scheme on William Road in central London, close to UCL.
Pinkerton spent 10 years at Lendlease and later Bovis after the Australian firm’s UK construction business was bought last April by new owner Atlas Holdings.

Landmark said Pinkerton will be based in its London office “and will be integral in growing the firm’s pan-European construction team”. It added: “His expertise in planning and construction will build on the team’s efforts to bring Landmark Properties’ student accommodations expertise to markets across Europe.”
Landmark says it is the largest student housing developer in the US with 72,000 beds under its management.
