Liverpool Vision attacks arial map website for overlooking regeneration projects in north of England

Regeneration body Liverpool Vision has complained that online map Google Earth is ignoring regeneration projects taking place in the north of England.

Liverpool Vision is angry that developments such as the £900m Paradise Project are not visible on the aerial view website, when the site shows London schemes such as Wembley and the Arsenal stadium.

Buildings in Birmingham and Manchester have also been overlooked, with the Manchester stadium used for the 2002 Commonwealth Games still shown as an area of wasteland.

Google Earth claims the site relies on external companies to provide the aerial views, and that images are updated as soon as possible.
