Health and safety trainer suspended from duty after falling from a ladder during a demonstration
This demonstration on ladder safety was cut short after the trainer fell while trying to demonstrate how a harness would prevent an accident.
The worker, named by the Daily Mail as Paul Cavanagh of Morrison Facilities Services, fell off the ladder after attempting to demontrate the fall arrest system he had in place.
According to a colleague heard in the video he had failed to attach side tethers to the ladder. The paper said Cavanagh was suspended for failing to follow company rules.
