Online Stakeholder Update allows clients to amend project data online
A unique web-based design tool to aid the design of hospitals has been created by a healthcare consultancy firm.
The Online Stakeholder Update, created by MJ Medical enables clients to amend room design data online.
Previously, the datasheets were stored on spreadsheets and alterations were done through an exchange of emails.
Key features include the ability for clients to amend data for individual or multiple rooms on a departmental basis or across an entire project with one key stroke. It also allows users flexible working conditions, by enabling them to access the data remotely.
Danny Gibson, technical director at MJ Medical said the new system would be a “powerful tool” in process efficiency, reducing the number of meetings previously required to alter designs.
