Invicta sues Ibex for £200k over £16m headquarters for Schroders

Two companies are embroiled in a £200,000 legal battle over a £16m project to build a 10-storey headquarters for Schroders in Gresham Street in the City of London.

A dispute arose between Invicta and Ibex, and they called in adjudicator Robert Sliwinski to decide the issues. The dispute centred around the omission of a BMS system from the scope of works, the provision of the mechanical system, and the valuation of variations in the £1.4m contract, the writ says.

Mr Sliwinki awarded Invicta a total of £201,464.43 but Ibex has not paid. Now Invicta is suing Ibex for the money, as well as interest of £57.95 a day.
