David Armitage, MD of The York Handmade Brick Company, has been appointed chairman of the Better Brickwork Alliance. He replaces John White, whose term of tenure elapsed in September last year.

David recently made a guest appearance on Radio 4’s Midweek programme with Libby Purves.
