Deal will run for up to four years
Transport for London has confirmed that Amey, Costain and Dragados have all won spots on a framework that will include carrying out upgrade work to South Kensington and Elephant & Castle tube stations.
The infrastructure improvement framework was advertised last June with the estimated total value of work covered by the deal priced at up to £840m. Unsuccessful bidders were Taylor Woodrow, Morgan Sindall and Octavius.
The work will run for an initial two years with an option to extend by a further two years. TfL said that further extensions will either be made in single year or two year increments.

It will include £200m of step-free access work while notable other deals include the £80m upgrade of South Kensington tube station which has been designed by RSHP.
The scheme is being developed by TfL, Native Land and TfL’s development arm Places for London.
So-called around station development work, which includes restoring the station’s historic shopping arcade and adjoining Thurloe Street retail units and building 50 homes, is due to start later this year.
Dragados is already on site at Elephant & Castle building new passenger tunnels with footfall at the station expected to rise by 25% and 40% by 2041.
