Student accommodation giant buys two development sites in Bristol

Student accommodation developer Unite is planning two major schemes worth a total £85m in central Bristol after snapping up two sites in the city.

In a statement to investors, Unite said the sites would proivde homes for around 900 students, subject to obtaining the necessary approvals and planning consents.

Richard Simpson, managing director of property for Unite Students, said: “We are delighted to have acquired two high quality sites in Bristol. We look forward to developing these sites and adding more high quality student accommodation to our existing estate in a strategically important city.”
