Watch daring duo down concrete structure with power tool

A breathtaking how-not-to-do-it video of low-tech demolition work has emerged that shows a water tower in Belarus turned to rubble with the aid of a power tool.

The footage is understood to come from the town of Zaslavl, near Minsk, and shows two unprotected workers chipping away the final supporting chunks of the concrete structure  - before running for their lives.

One report said the duo had shunned the use of explosives to down the structure because of its proximity to a nearby house.

Another named the contractor for the work as Viktor Gordievitch, and quoted him saying the unconventional demolition method was 50% cheaper than a controlled explosion.
