Contract to run five years with option for £1bn extension

Bowmer and Kirkland, ISG and Wates are among the big winners on the Ministry of Justice’s latest £2.5bn construction framework.

Eight firms have been appointed to the department’s national major projects lot – which covers jobs valued between £10m and £30m – with a number finding spots across several of the regional sublots for medium and lower value projects.

The MoJ Constructor Services Frameworks will include new build, refurbishment and minor works and contains the possibility of a £1bn additional spend if the framework is extended for two years.

The contract runs until February 2028.
