Robin Hood Gardens

Video footage showed a slab of concrete cross barrier and nearly hit worker

Demoliton of Robin Hood Gardens stopped for five days earlier this month after footage of a potentially deadly accident surfaced.

Developer Swan Housing revealed construction on the site in south-east London ground to a halt after footage of a concrete block flying across a barrier toward a worker emerged.

A spokesperson for the developer said the firm was “shocked by the footage” and had not been aware until then that the incident had taken place.
