The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland building in Belfast has netted Todd Architects a gong at the Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA) Design Awards.

The £30m building, built by contractor Harcourt Construction (Northern Ireland), contains 3,000m2 of archival shelving and office space and also won a sustainable design award and integrated artwork award.

Paul Crowe, managing director at Todd Architects, said: “It was vital that we produced an innovative public building which is welcoming to staff and visitors alike.”
