Countryside and Home Group appointed preferred bidder on major housing scheme
Countryside and Home Group has been selected as preferred bidder to work on the redevelopment of South Oxhey, near Watford.
The developer has been chosen by Three Rivers District Council to deliver 500 homes for
sale and rent, a shopping environment and improved links to other local areas. Local people will also be able to secure apprenticeships and jobs throughout the development’s construction.
Ann Shaw, Leader of the Council said “This is good news, bringing the provision of new, high quality, homes and shops closer. The Council is delighted that it will be moving forward with Countryside and Home Group, organisations with proven track records of successfully delivering such regeneration schemes.”
Countryside partnership division chief executive Richard Cherry said “We are delighted to have been selected by Three Rivers District Council to regenerate central South Oxhey. Our strong focus on working in partnership also extends towards residents and all stakeholders involved in the process.
“Countryside and Home Group will deliver first class housing for South Oxhey’s local residents as well as help to serve as a catalyst for the revitalization of the whole neighbourhood.”
