Last week, we invited you to vote on our website for the best of the nicknames submitted. “The Vol-au-vent will rise above all-comers,” asserted web reader Chef Supreme, and some 49% of voters agreed. Its nearest rival, the Hula Hoop, got 38%, the Dog Bowl got 7%, the Zoetrope 6%, and the Tambourine, sadly, got no votes at all. Congratulations to Building reader Darren Stacey who suggested Vol-au-vent. He wins tickets to a sports event of his choice.
