Alinea was founded by six former directors of Davis Langdon and EC Harris in May 2013 – Paul Allen, Iain Parker, Steve Watts, Paul Zuccherelli, Mark Lacey and Richard Taylor.

It has grown to 35-strong with recent major wins including a mixed-use scheme at St Giles Circus in the West End of London for Consolidated Developments, a fit-out of RIBA’s headquarters and a refurbishment of 20 Old Bailey in the City.

The founders said the firm is on course to turn over £4m and grow to 50-strong in its second year of trading and expects to be 100-strong within four years.

The firm is working on 7.5 million sq ft of office space, 4 million sq ft of retail space, 800 student rooms, 4,000 residential units and 600 hotel rooms.
