The framework will be available across central government departments and arm’s length bodies

The pan-government Offsite Construction Solutions framework will replace an existing £500m modular framework established four years ago, which included five major suppliers – Caledonian, Elliott, McAvoy, Portakabin and Wernick – as well as a host of smaller suppliers.

The framework will be available to central government departments and their arm’s length bodies and agencies, as well as the wider public sector and third sector.

The four year contract runs from 24 January next year, with an option to extend for a further three years.

The CCS intends to host a bidder’s day next Thursday (1 September) which will provide details of the framework’s new multi-lot structure, which will cover the education, health, justice and defence.

Firms have until 7 October to submit bids.
