Construction has begun on a £6.5m performing arts centre at Liverpool Hope University
The building is funded by £3m from the Northwest Regional Development Agency and contributions from the Higher Education Funding Council for England and from the university itself. The scheme, which is likely to be completed in November, includes music practice rooms, studios, a performance hall, gallery and space for businesses.
