Foreign Office Architects has unveiled designs for this higher education college at Greenwich Peninsula, east London, including Ravensbourne College (pictured) on Peninsula Square.
The site, home to the O2 Dome – formerly the Millennium Dome – covers 190 acres. Developers Lend Lease and Quintain expect 20,000 homes and workplaces for 24,000 people to be built there in the next 15 years. In the next phase of development, Terry Farrell + Partners will draw up plans for a commercial building opposite the O2. Crest Nicholson will develop a 1.1 acre site for 295 apartments and 5,000ft2 of retail space. Crest has commissioned Flacq Architects to work up the designs.
