Demolition work at the £500m Pinnacle in the City of London will not be affected by a High Court injunction setting limits to the vibration caused.

The court imposed the injunction after insurance firm Hiscox, which occupies a neighbouring building, complained about disruption.

Arab Investments, which is developing the 300m-high project, said it was working within levels set out in an agreement in December. These were included in the court order. However, if it does exceed levels, it will be protected if it can show it tried to prevent a breach.

Lawyers for Arab Investments said they would consider applying for a variation if future work was in danger of breaching the agreed vibration levels.

Demolition, by Keltbray, continued throughout the case.
