Hospital bedhead services specialist Static Systems has brought out a range of patient hand units suitable for those with disabilities.

The units comprise a speech hand unit, which is available with lighting control and entertainment functions. A non-speech variant is also available. A mini hand unit with lighting control can also be specified. The company says that the units have been developed to be comfortable and easy for people with impaired sight to use. The units are interchangeable with the company’s Codemlon hand units, making retrofits easier.
