Kalzip has launched a lightweight facade system, the Kalzip Perforated Facade.
The perforated sheets are made from aluminium, which the company says is resistant to corrosion and more cost-effective than steel and timber systems. It comes in two thicknesses, 1 and 1.2mm, and in four standing-seam profiles. Its sections can be straight, concave or convex, with stucco embossed, patina or colour-coated finishes. The system can act as a lightweight sun shade, offering protection from solar gain.
