Sto has launched a virtually joint-less rainscreen cladding system.
Called StoVentec, it comprises a substructure of aluminium base fixing, mineral wool insulation and wallboard. It is made from 96% recycled blown glass granulate mixed with a binder and pressed into a board, with glass-fibre mesh reinforcement. Panels can be fixed on to aluminium sub-frames and factory-formed to accommodate curved walls. The product provides a base for Sto’s acrylic renders and other exterior facings.
