Douglas Delabie, under its Chavonnet banner, has launched a range of water controls to help prevent hospital-acquired infections

Designed for operating theatres, care units, handwashing areas, sterile zones and accommodation areas, the range includes removable Bioclip mixer taps. Each mixer tap is supplied with two demountable spouts to enable use while the contaminated spout is removed for sterilisation. The spouts are designed to accommodate connection to sterilisation filters.

The Bioclip removable mixer tap/spout features anti-stagnation action – a self-draining system that prevents water stagnation and bacterial development within the fitting – and can be removed from its base for disinfection.
