Durkan has completed the final phase of a seven-year project to refurbish a historic south London housing estate.

The contractor has just finished modernising the final block on the William Sutton Housing Association’s 90-year-old Rotherhithe estate. Each block was stripped back to its original walls to reduce the number of two-bedroom flats to 17 from 24. The most recently refurbished blocks meet the EcoHomes excellent standard.
