Consortium reaches financial close on scheme to deliver eight schools in second phase of city's BSF programme

Financial close has been reached today on Costain's £230m Bradford schools phase two PFI project by the consortium delivering the scheme, Integrated Bradford.

The consortium is made up of Costain, HSBC, Building Schools for the Future (BSF) and Amey Ventures.

The scheme will deliver four secondary schools for Bradford Metropolitan District Council and four smaller schools for students with special needs.

Design and construction of all the schools is being provided by Educo - a joint venture between Costain and Ferrovial Agroman.
