Scheme at city’s science park to start next autumn

Perkins and Will has been given planning for two more buildings at the Oxford Science Park.

The practice, which last month snapped up smaller rival Penoyre & Prasad for an undisclosed sum, has drawn up plans for office and laboratory space at the site which is planning to add an extra 500,0002ft of space by 2025.

The two new buildings account for around one third of that additional space with construction set to start next autumn for completion in 2022.

Core 5 is cost consultant while others working on the job include M&E engineer Hoare Lea and structural engineer Campbell Reith.
