Zumtobel Lighting has launched an illuminated escape route sign called Puresign. It features a silver anodised frame, which measures 306 × 156 × 28mm, and comes with a selection of pictographs, back-lit by LEDs.
Integrated spot LEDs provide additional illumination of the surrounding area to comply with Part B1 of the Building Regulations, which requires adequately lit and suitably signed means of escape. The company says the sign comes ready to plug in, in wall-mounted or suspended versions, and complies with BS EN 60598-2-22, for emergency lighting luminaires.
