Aluminium cladding maker Kawneer has launched a fire-resistant version of its AA100 curtain walling system.
The company says the system, AA100 Firescreen, has been tested to UK and European standards. It can keep fire on one side of the cladding, minimise heat transference for up to 30 minutes and is certified for air permeability, watertightness and wind resistance. The system offers 50mm wide sightlines and is suitable for vertical applications including faceted walls. It is dry jointed to minimise site operations and is available with a zone drain option.
