Häfele has launched the E3 folding door system to link houses to gardens and patios.
It can handle doors weighing up to 80kg and measuring 3000 × 1000mm. As many as 16 doors – eight either side – can be hung in tandem, opening inwards or outwards. The system comprises ironmongery, weatherproofing, locks, handles and the folding door gear. The company says its hardware has undergone extensive weather sealing and performance testing and that the stainless steel and non-ferrous materials used in its construction give outstanding corrosion resistance.
