Pracht Lichttechnik and Sill Lighting UK have joined forces to launch a waterproof tubular light fitting called Tubis.

Designed for external applications, the companies say the luminaire is water-, dust- and chemical-proof. Its 90mm diameter housing can be specified in impact-resistant clear polycarbonate, opalised PMMA plastic or acid- and alkali-resistant clear glass. It contains single, twin or triple fluorescent lamps, from 14 to 58W. Fittings are designed for surface mounting using stainless steel clips, so the luminaire is suitable for ceilings, pendants and horizontal or vertical mounting.
