Jeld-Wen has developed a 35mm interior fire door called FireGuard.
Working in partnership with Bodycote Warringtonfire, the 35mm door has been tested to BS 476 part 22 to offer 30 minutes’ protection. The main resistance is provided by the core, with the intumescent seals pre-fitted to the edges of the door rather than the frame. FireGuard is available across a wide range of Jeld-Wen’s moulded, veneered, foil, paint grade and hard board doors and is compatible with standard frames. The intumescent strip is available in white, ash or meranti finishes to complement the door face.
