Corus has unveiled its new Colorcoat Prisma range of pre-finished steel sheeting, which is suitable for a wide range of applications, including cladding and roofing.

The range is available in a number of contemporary colours, including solids, metallics and natural matt shades to replicate more traditional materials such as terracotta, slate and weathered copper.

The range has surpassed the requirements of Ruv4 - the test for resistance to ultraviolet light - and RC5, the test for corrosion. The sheeting comes with a high-performance backing coat as standard, but is also available double sided in limited colours for applications such as rainscreens and rainwater goods.

Colorcoat Prisma meets BS 6920: 2000 - “Suitability of non-metallic products for use in contact with water intended for human consumption” - which means it can be used
with rainwater harvesting systems. A selection of the Prisma finishes have also been developed to provide improved solar absorption, making them suitable for perforated transpired solar collectors.
