Imerys Roof Tiles has introduced a large clay roof tile measuring 20 × 30cm, which it says offers the versatility, design flexibility and appearance of smaller tiles, to create natural looking roofscapes cost-effectively.

It claims installation is quicker and easier than with larger ones because fewer tiles and battens are required. The slate has a gentle shouldered cross-camber design, reminiscent of a traditional double camber. Its flat underside prevents movement in high winds.
