Kingspan Off-Site has launched a collection of low-carbon technologies originally specified on the Kingspan Lighthouse, the first house to reach level six of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

The technologies, comprising a ventilation system, a ventilation and heating system, and a solar thermal system will support the firm’s portfolio of building systems.

The ventilation system has a fully integrated heat recovery element, which the company says recycles up to 88% of heat normally lost with conventional extractors.

The ventilation and heating system can provide a cost-effective alternative to radiators and underfloor heating by integrating the boiler and ventilation system to offer air heating.

The solar thermal systems are custom-designed for flexibility and to meet hot water demands through the use of the Kingspan Solar Thermomax Vacuum Tube Solar Collector.
