The Care Range from Baudet is a collection of pods designed to meet the needs of the medical and care sector, including models for wheelchair users and those with impaired mobility.

Eight models are available in the range, all fabricated from easy-to-clean GRP and watertight, with non-slip flooring.

They can be supplied with a range of grab rails, shower seats and user controls. The Citrine pod is designed to fit in an area of 3.7m2 and is ergonomically designed for wheelchair access. It can be used for new builds and refurbishment projects, and can either be installed directly onto the floor or recessed into it.

For extra space, the Rutile, Emerite and Ormanite pods offer a spacious design with wood-effect flooring; they are also suitable for new builds and refurbishments. The Azurite is a relatively compact pod with a swing door operation, requiring a floor surface of just 3m2. Another space-saving pod is the Aigue-Marine, with a footprint of 3m2. This model has a smart-trap option for external access to the pod’s interior.

Baudet says the pods can save time as they arrive on site prefabricated and can often be slotted into place. Bathroom pods are suitable for refurbishment projects, where they can be dismantled then reassembled and connected inside a building within hours.
