Raychem’s electric underfloor heating system has been installed in the recently opened spa at the Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland.

It has been fitted under the anti-slip, porcelain ceramic tiling around the vitality pool, across the communal areas, in changing rooms and in 12 of the treatment rooms.

The company says the inclusion of its ultra-thin QuickNet power mats ensured maximum heating efficiency, with virtually no impact on floor height. For the changing rooms, a higher temperature was specified, so Raychem installed its T2 Blue heating cables.
